Dave Schwan from Saxon Motorcycles talks about being in business for 2 years and building custom motorcycles.

Saxon’s event rig and the 06 motorcycle lineup were parked at the Pioneer Hotel in Laughlin, NV on April 26th through the 30th. Thousands stopped in and saw the sleds in person and met the entire team during the biggest motorcycle event in the West.

Thunder Bob met up with Dave Schwan, Marketing Honcho for Saxon. In this interview Thunder Bob talks about the lineup, legislation and where you can find Team Saxon on the road.

Saxon’s signature model, the Black Crown, was designed by veteran builder Gard Hollinger of LA County Choprods (several of the bike’s unique features, like the gas tank and hand-tooled leather seat, are LACC proprietary items). With a firm nod to a hot rod biking past but created with the latest technology, you can sum up the style of the whole package as vintage/modern and not blink a peeper at the contradiction. And, dig this daddy-o, the MSRP is just under $27,000.
